Set Up for Success – Supporting Foster Youth College Transition

education, policy, TAY

This webinar provided strategies that child welfare professionals, caregivers, and advocates can use to ensure that foster youth successfully transition into post-secondary education and attain their educational goals.

Our panelists covered several approaches for encouraging a college-going culture, demystifying the matriculation and financial aid processes and how to ensure that foster youth are linked to the range of supports available at college so that they are set up for success before they transition to a post-secondary setting.
