Education & Employment

We lead a multi-agency effort to improve outcomes for youth who are transitioning out of foster care, supporting young adults with high school and post-secondary education, workforce readiness, and gainful employment.

Healthcare & Education

We help children and young adults in foster care and guardianships secure access to health care coverage and obtain vital medical, dental, and mental health care. The Alliance also helps young children obtain the developmental therapy and special education supports they need to thrive and learn.

Geographic Reach

While our clients primarily reside in Los Angeles County, our statewide advocacy, work throughout the nation, and online educational materials and resources reach and impact innumerable youth.

How you can help:

If you or your firm are involved in a class action case and are unable to fully distribute the settlement funds, your nomination of the Alliance for Children’s Rights as a Cy Pres recipient can help make a real difference for kids or young adults.

An award of Cy Pres funds to the Alliance can ensure that these residual funds will be used to improve outcomes for and protect the rights of vulnerable children and families in need of justice.
