Relative caregivers are the backbone of our child welfare system, yet children placed with kind often receive a fraction of the support as children placed with non-relatives. The Alliance for Children's Rights and our partners launched Step Up: Supporting Caregivers, Protecting Children to bring awareness to the inequities of relative care.
