Michelle I. Garcia

Michelle I. Garcia is the legal assistant for the Adoptions Program at the Alliance with three years of experience serving vulnerable populations as a certified nursing assistant in Seattle.  In this role, she gained experience advocating for her patient’s rights while also helping her patients navigate the healthcare system.  Michelle started her career at the Alliance as a temporary, part-time intake assistant working in the Intake Department and with the Children’s Advocacy Project team. She is beginning her career in law as a recent graduate of the University of Washington-Seattle.  Michelle received a Bachelor of Science in Public Health-Global Health and is an Evans Scholar alumnus.  She is a Los Angeles native and resides there with her family and dog, Pancho.
