Alicia Ibarra

Legal Assistant, Adoption Program

Alicia (she/her/ella) is an Adoption Legal Assistant at the Alliance, where she works closely with attorneys, social workers, and community partners to ensure that adoptions move forward efficiently and thoughtfully, always prioritizing the well-being of children and their caregivers. Alicia specializes in a holistic approach to assessing family needs and helps ensure families receive the proper funding and services to thrive during and after the adoption process.

Before joining the Alliance, Alicia built her career in fast-paced legal environments, supporting high-volume litigation teams and keeping complex matters on track. This experience strengthened her legal skills and deepened her commitment to creating meaningful impact for clients. Outside of her professional work, Alicia remains dedicated to service through volunteer efforts with local community-based organizations focused on housing, mutual aid, and youth empowerment through the arts.

Alicia earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from California State University, Long Beach. She lives in Long Beach with her dog, Odie.
