Racial Equity in Child Welfare Update Social Media Assets
We are excited to share a progress report on activities and advocacy following the release of our Path to Racial Equity in Child Welfare: Valuing Family and Community Report. In the summer of 2021, the Alliance for Children’s Rights published a report containing a set of policy recommendations to address the racial disproportionality and disparities in California’s child welfare system. This brief provides updates on the progress of the reform campaign and a preview of activities to come.
We hope you will join us in celebrating our progress to date and focusing on future reforms. Please use the materials to promote our collective efforts the week of May 1st.
