In this webinar, the Children’s Advocacy Institute will offer practice guidance on the implementation of AB 2935. Participants will learn what the new law requires, how counties and caregivers can respond when credit problems are identified, and how attorneys, service providers, and youth supporters can help ensure youth leave foster care with their financial futures intact. The presentation will also feature a lived experience expert, offering a firsthand perspective on the real-world impact of identity theft on young people transitioning from foster care.
