Reaching the Finish Line

This video provides a snapshot of the Alliance’s work on behalf of Los Angeles’ most vulnerable children. It profiles a family who benefited from the Alliance’s adoption services in addition to four youth who talk about transitioning out of foster care and how the Alliance helped them reach a promising finish line. This video premiered at the Alliance’s 23rd Annual Dinner on March 12, 2015 at the Beverly Hilton.

Governor Gavin Newsom signed Alliance co-sponsored Assembly Bill 495 (C. Rodriguez, AD 43), the Family Preparedness Plan Act of 2025, into law on October 12. In his signing
