The Beverly Hilton was packed for our spring gala, with nearly 1,000 supporters and friends of the Alliance for Children’s Rights who joined to celebrate our 25th anniversary, Champion for Children Honoree and Alliance CEO Janis Spire, and Francis M. Wheat honoree, Austin Beutner. It was truly an outpouring of love, generosity and emotion that was both awesome and humbling. The dinner raised 1.5 million for our children and families.
Clients Alan Radke and Laura Sander shared their own stories, reminding us of the life-changing impact of the Alliance over the past 25 years. Mandy Moore and Chrissy Metz, Golden-Globe nominated stars of the hit series This Is Us, kept the evening lively as our hosts, and a special musical performance by MUSE/IQUE brought the house down.
Alliance supporters are the reason our young clients are able to gain the love of family, the protection of the law, and access to everything they need to overcome the hurdles they face. Continued investment in the Alliance helps us create hope and opportunity for our clients.
