Nicolas Muñoz, Esq.


Nicolas earned his JD at USC Gould School of Law and a BA from California State University, Fresno. During law school, he conducted research about supported decision-making for adults with developmental disabilities as a 2016-2017 Saks Institute Scholar. Nicolas also interned in the Youth Practice Group at Disability Rights California and the Lanterman Regional Center Law Clinic. USC awarded Nicolas the Irmas Legal Fellowship to continue advocating for the special education rights of low-income children. Before joining the Alliance, Nicolas was a staff attorney at Mental Health Advocacy Service, Inc., where he secured appropriate special education services for low-income children.
