
Daniella Hernandez
Operations Coordinator, Opportunity Youth Collaborative
Daniella Hernandez (she/they) is the Operations Coordinator for the Alliance’s Los Angeles Opportunity Youth Collaborative (OYC), where she supports the day-to-day operations that keep her team running smoothly. Drawing on five years of experience expanding access to higher education and meaningful employment for historically marginalized communities, Daniella tracks payments, coordinates logistics, and manages partner communications, including authoring the OYC’s bimonthly newsletter and helping grow engagement across the team’s social media platforms. Before joining the Alliance in early 2026, they worked with Indigenous youth at the Copper River Native Association in Glennallen, Alaska, supporting local youth employment and land stewardship initiatives, and served as Community Advisor for the Pomona College Academy for Youth Success (PAYS), where they coordinated educational and recreational programming for more than 95 historically underrepresented youth from across Southern California. Daniella earned a Bachelor of Arts in Chicana/o-Latina/o Studies and Environmental Analysis from Pomona College and is a proud resident of Southeast Los Angeles, where she lives with her family.
