Adelaida Brown

Adelaida “Addy” Brown (she/her) is an Education Staff Attorney at the Alliance, serving babies and youth in early intervention and special education matters.

Addy works to ensure students are receiving the proper, tailored education and related services they are entitled to under state and federal law. She is dedicated to disrupting the school-to-prison pipeline and believes education is essential to dismantling systemic barriers and ensuring every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Addy is an alumna of Columbia Law School’s Center for Public Research and Leadership where she worked in public education policy issues. Addy earned her Juris Doctor from University of California, Irvine School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from California State University, Fullerton. She is a member of the California Bar.

Addy is a fourth generation Californian and currently enjoys living in Long Beach, CA.
