Denise Velasquez
Human Resources Director
Denise Velasquez (she/her) is the Human Resources Director at the Alliance and joined in September 2022. She brings 17 years of experience in organizational planning, talent acquisition, performance management, compensation analysis, benefits administration, and employee relations. Her priority is to drive forward our diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
Before joining the Alliance, Denise served as the Director of Human Resources at the UCLA School of Law supporting a staff workforce of nearly 450 people (full-time staff of nearly 200 and student employees of nearly 250).
Denise earned a Bachelor of Arts in history from UCLA. She is an LA native and lives with her family in Palmdale, CA.
