Jasmine is a graduate of Occidental College, majoring in Sociology and Latinx/Latin American Studies and minoring in Spanish. Before joining the Alliance, she was a JusticeCorps Fellow at the Stanley Mosk courthouse, where she assisted pro se litigants with their family law cases. Previously, she worked within the education field through MALDEF, and the Neighborhood Partnership Program by providing parents and students with developmental trainings. She also enjoys exploring the ways in which photography is a medium used for activism. Her work has lead her to be passionate about finding ways to help her community.
