Elana Zada

Supervising Attorney

Elana Zada (she/her) is a Supervising Attorney with the Education Program at the Alliance and works to assist youth and their families access early intervention and special education services. Specializing in serving youth with disabilities, Elana works to collaborate with agencies like school districts and regional centers across Los Angeles County to ensure her clients have appropriate developmental and/or educational services.

Since joining the Alliance in 2018, Elana has conducted hundreds of trainings for caregivers, service providers and an array of agencies on topics like education rights, the impacts of trauma on our brains and bodies, and racial justice. In September 2021, Elana was selected to participate in the Department of Mental Health and University of California Los Angeles, Early Childhood Fellowship where she gained a repertoire of best practices in early intervention as well as an understanding of the impact of early experience on children’s brain development.
