Dr. Kimberly Idoko

Dr. Kimberly Idoko, Esq., joined the Alliance in 2023 as Director of the Health Care Program. In this capacity, she leads the Alliance’s Medical-Legal partnership, Supplemental Security Income program, and efforts to protect access to vital medical resources and care for children in foster care and young adults transitioning from foster care to independence.

Prior to joining the Alliance, Dr. Idoko practiced corporate healthcare regulatory and compliance law at Latham & Watkins LLP in Los Angeles.  In addition, she is a board-certified neurologist and medical director who brings fifteen years of experience as a practicing physician.

Dr. Idoko earned her BS in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from Yale University, her MD from the University of Pennsylvania, her MBA from Columbia Business School, and her JD from Stanford Law School.  She is a member of the California bar.
