Human rights and health go hand-in-hand (WHO)
For the February 2010 issue of the WHO Bulletin, an interview was conducted with Professor Savitri Goonesekere, Emeritus Professor of Law at the University of Colombo, on the importance of taking a human rights approach to health, and her work with WHO to assess Sri Lanka’s laws, regulations and policies related to adolescents’ access to sexual and reproductive health information and services.
