Child Rights Education for Professionals (CRED-PRO)
Child Rights Education for Professionals (CRED-PRO) is an international initiative of the International Institute for Child Rights and Development at the University of Victoria, Canada. It is endorsed by the United Nations Committee on the Rights of the Child and the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, to develop educational programs on the human rights of children for professionals working with and for children. The overarching goal of CRED-PRO is to provide the tools through which professionals can better understand, appreciate, apply and respect the principles and standards of the Convention on the Rights of the Child in their day-to-day practice, as well as policy and research, in order to improve the development and quality of life of children.
